Identify what is missing
Start by distinguishing a completely empty guide from missing programmes on only a few channels. A guide that is consistently several hours ahead or behind is a different case again. Write down two channel names and the time you expected to see.
Check the clock before the playlist
Inspect the device's date, time and time zone. Then inspect any programme-guide offset inside the player. If both settings are adjusting the same difference, the final display can be wrong even though the source data is usable. Change one control at a time.
Refresh without deleting your account
- Open the player's EPG or programme-guide settings.
- Confirm that a guide source is actually associated with the playlist.
- Use the app's guide refresh action, if available.
- Wait for the import to finish before closing the player.
- Compare the same sample channels again.
Menu names vary between players. Use the publisher's instructions for the version you installed. Do not delete a working profile until you have a safe copy of the details needed to restore it.
When only a few channels are affected
Programme data must match the identifiers used in the playlist. Similar channel names do not guarantee matching identifiers. If the app provides manual mapping, use a known matching entry and test a small sample. Otherwise ask the source provider to check the guide mapping.
When yesterday works but tomorrow is empty
A guide may contain a limited time range. That does not necessarily indicate a broken player. Check how far into the future the supplied data extends and whether the import was completed. Be careful with large history windows on devices with limited memory.
What to send to support
Provide the time zone, affected channel labels, a redacted screenshot and the result after refresh. Never publish the complete EPG URL if it contains an account token.
